Changemakers Impact Award

The Changemakers Impact Award is a collaboration between the GiLE Foundation and the Hungarian National Commission for UNESCO. Application Deadline: 15 September 2022.

There are two separate awards, one for an individual and one for a youth-led organisation.

I. Individual Award

For any individual between the ages of 18 and 35 years, who has made a positive social impact in their local community and helped to address a social or environmental issue in Hungary.

II. Youth-Led Organisation Award

For any youth-led organisation in Hungary who has made a positive social impact in their local community and helped to address a social or environmental issue. This includes NGOs, associations, student organisations, social enterprises, and for-profit companies based in Hungary.

 

 

Application Deadline: 15 September 2022

 

Submission requirements:

  • An executive summary of your project, its detailed activities, specific target audience, and activity timeline. (Max. 250 words)
  • Background information about the social or environmental challenge that’s being addressed by your project. (Max. 250 words)
  • Description of the social impact that was achieved in your local community in Hungary. (Max. 250 words)
  • Any digital evidence of your project activities in 2022 and its social impact in your local community (i.e. photos, video, written testimonials, media coverage, articles, etc.)
  • Details on any future plans that you or your youth-led organisation has regarding your project (if any). (Max. 250 words)
  • If the applicant is a student organisation in Hungary, then a signed reference letter from the university should also be submitted.

Reward:

  • Public visibility and recognition
  • Video profile of each winner and their project
  • Financial reward

                        Youth-led organisation (200.000 HUF)

  • Certificate of Recognition

Application for 2020 MAB Young Scientists Awards

Since 1989 the Man and Biosphere Programme of UNESCO has been supporting young researchers each year with awards of up to US$ 5,000 in support of their research on ecosystems, natural resources and biodiversity. The MAB Young Scientists Awards targets young researchers carrying out interdisciplinary research in line with UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme. 

Deadline for applications : 13 December 2019.
